Thank you for your interest in our anxiety research study at NYU Langone Health.


The purpose of this research study is to understand to how cannabidiol (CBD) works for patients with social anxiety disorder (SAD). Specifically, we want to understand the
behavioral and neurological changes that that contribute to reduction in SAD symptoms with CBD treatment compared to placebo. SAD is a mental health disorder with specific core features, such as worry and anxiety about being judged, negatively evaluated, or rejected in social or performance situations.

Participation in this study requires 6 study visits over the period of approximately one month.
Participants will receive compensation for their time.
