Paradoxical Lucidity in Severe End-Stage Dementia Survey |
Hello,
You are being invited to take part in a survey. We are interested in learning about the occurrence of lucid events in people with severe dementia, especially toward the end of life. Some examples of lucidity in patients with severe dementia may include regaining the ability to recognize family members, communicating coherently with others and becoming aware of their surroundings. If you have witnessed these events or if you have heard about these episodes without necessarily witnessing them, we would like to hear from you!
This survey may take up to 30 minutes to complete. Your participation is voluntary which means you can choose whether or not you would like to complete the survey.
If you would like to take part in this survey, please read through the information page and the consent form in the next section, and direct any questions you might have to the study team at pl@nyulangone.org
