NIH Data Management and Sharing Plan Prompts
The NNLM National Center for Data Services will be holding a series of "Practitioner Discussions" about the upcoming NIH Data Management and Sharing Plan Requirements. We will be using each of these sessions to discuss questions or issues that data librarians are encountering as we seek to prepare our research communities for these changes, and we are looking for prompts from YOU!
Example prompts include:
- “I am currently struggling with how to … at my institution. How are you handling this issue at your institution?”
- “Researchers at my institution are confused about... How are other librarians dealing with this question from their researchers?”
- “The policy group or legal team at my institution is struggling with… How are you discussing these issues with those stakeholders?
We will select four discussion prompts for each of the discussions and ask the submitters of those questions to give a brief (3-5 minute) presentation on the topic and any relevant context, then ask participants for how they are or might approach this issue.
