Application Instructions
Before You Apply Confirm You Meet Eligibility Requirements- Before applying, please make sure you meet all eligibility requirements, including the commitment to participate in all program activities. Applicants who do not meet these requirements will not qualify to participate in the program. Watch an Information Session - October 13, 2026 @ 7pm EST. There will be one live session, with a recording available on our website afterward for anyone who couldn't attend or wants to rewatch. 2. Completing Your Application
Prepare All Materials- Make sure you have all required attachments and answers ready before you hit "Submit". Once submitted, you will not be able to go back and make any changes to your application. Save Your Application Code- You may complete your application across multiple sessions. If you need to stop and finish later, click "Save & Return Later" — a unique Return Code will appear on screen. Write it down and keep it in a safe place; you will need this code, along with the survey link emailed to you, to resume where you left off. If you forget or lose your code, do not start a new application — contact REACH 2.0 staff at REACH2program@acaam.org to have your code resent. Please note, that responses can take up to two business days. Review Your Application- Before submitting, take a moment to review all your information to ensure everything is accurate and complete. 3. File Naming Requirements

To be eligible for the REACH 2.0 Near Peer Program, applicants must be::
Medical degree (MD or DO) Subspeciality or practicing in Addiction Medicine, Addiction Psychiatry, or working primarily with populations with SUD Alumni of the REACH Program or similar mentoring program within that last 5 years o Attend the 2-day Near Peer Training, held April 4–5, 2027, in Minneapolis, MN, in conjunction with ASAM. Travel stipends are provided.
o Commit to meeting with your Mentee virtually at least once per quarter.
o Serve as the scholar's first line of support on their scholarly project — helping them think through timeline, milestones, and what local resources or connections might be needed.
o Attend and actively participate in 2 virtual webinars per month .
o Submit quarterly reports on program related activities.
o Participate in program evaluation activities (including pre- and post-training surveys, mid-year/exit surveys, and qualitative interviews). All responses are confidential and only used for program improvement. For reporting purposes, responses are provided in aggregate.
